SkyScout

Overview

SkyScout is a flight search engine that puts the information travellers compare — price, stops, airline and timing — on one screen. Live fares come from the Amadeus API.

My role

Solo project — UI design, front end and API integration.

What I built

• Search by route, date, passengers and cabin class against the Amadeus flight offers API.
• Filters for max price, number of stops and airline that update results instantly, with state held in Zustand.
• Route map showing origin and destination.
• Price overview chart (Recharts) of fares by departure time, with lowest and average price called out.
• Light and dark themes.
